It all started in 1979 with a BMX rider and his father. Bill Danishek, a youth from Dayton, Ohio kept breaking his stems, so his dad Charlie who at the time was a toolmaker, went to work machining him a better stem that could handle the abuse of BMX riding. soon other riders would see it and want their own. Riders demanded it, and shortly after DK “dad and kids” was born.

These guys are great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They treated me like an old customer even though I just moved to OKC. Although they are small, they have a good selection of merchandise. Great prices too! I highly recommend them.

The other reviews are spot on. Took three bikes here in the past week to get tuned up and couldn’t be happier! This shop won’t needlessly up-sell you. They will give you sound advice and often times it is for the cheaper option. Keep being awesome guys!

This is the only bike shop in Oklahoma City you should even consider going to. Celestial is the one place where you’re greeted with a smile. When I first started cycling a few years ago, they took me under their wing and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for out of my cycling experience. I’m so thankful to have people like Sheridan and his crew who advocate the sport of cycling the right way: with open arms.

I am new to cycling, and a friend referred me to this store for shoes. The staff was super helpful, and found the perfect shoes for me and installed the clips at no charge. They didn’t make me feel like my basic questions were silly, but rather, seemed genuinely excited for me to get into it. I will definitely be back!

Wow, I’ve been to a lot of bike shops and this one certainly takes the cake! What a phenomenal group of humans. Came in with two bike emergencies that needed fixing before our triathlon tomorrow morning and were greeted with nothing but selfless generosity.
Thank you Celestial Cycles for allowing us to compete in the race we flew from Colorado to partake in!

Just got back into cycling after an injury and had them do a tune up. Was incredibly surprised that they just charged me the basic fee and didn’t upcharge me as I have had happened at different bike shops when I moved with my employer. Happy with my service at this shop!

I’ve purchased 2 bikes from Celestial over the years & they’ve helped me on numerous occasions. The guys are very knowledgeable & communicate well with customers no matter the customers knowledge level. The elite cyclist attitude that can often be found in bike shops doesn’t exist here. All the guys make you feel welcomed. Its a fun place to hangout & talk bikes. A very relaxed atmosphere.
